SPUG TX offer

Ouch.... That hurts.
Singapore Palm User Group (SPUG) is offering the Palm TX at a special price for its members. (And I am their members) They managed to get this speical price directly from Palm.

And it's SGD$46 cheaper than the price I paid. (I got mine at SGD$525, slightly lower than the retail price of SDG$548.)

This pricing is only exclusive to SPUG members. As this offer is from Palm, Inc. (and not from Ingram Micro), please do not use this pricing to challenge retailers' prices. If there is any unfavourable channel feedback to Palm or Ingram Micro, Palm will not be able to offer exclusive SPUG offers in future.


I think the last statement is very very important. There are bound to be some jokers who will print out that page and go to the stores to check if they can match this pricing. Oh come on, its already $69 cheaper than the retail price, what else do you want? But lets pray that there nobody does that or we'll never get another special offer from Palm, Inc.

PS: Actually, it doesn't hurt that much. I get to play with my TX for 2 weeks already and I'm loving it. Wait till 11 Nov to save a mere SGD$46? No thanks.
